Two members of Massachusetts Congress took their message to the Metro West Daily News where they published an open letter calling for the passing of the Work and Families Mobility Act.

“We have sat across the table from immigrant families who spoke about their fear of driving,” the letter explains, “and how driving without a license limits their full mobility to bring their loved ones to medical appointments, school, work, or even travel around Massachusetts and to enjoy personal time.” Senator Eldridge and Representative Sena point to the numerous benefits to the safety, health, and economic well-being not just of people without legal documentation but also to the greater community that licensing for all would bring.
